I have been working as an English teacher to foreigners for 6 years now. I was so fortunate to be able to teach this language to wide variety of students and one of my students before and now are Japanese. Every time I have a student I always ask them why are they studying the English language. In this way I can assess if they are really interested or if they were forced to study because dealing with someone very eager to learn English and someone who is not that interested is very different. Also I make sure that my student will understand what kind of lesson they would like to take. Learning English has a lot of aspects. Reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Knowing which one is the priority will give us a base line on how we are going to start our lesson and going forth in the future. Nevertheless teaching English will depend on the student. So if you are interested I will be more than willing to help you out!
