Jordan is passionate about problem solving and productivity. He previously worked at JP Morgan in Japan, first as a programmer and project manager, then later in Equities as a Sales Trader. He has a lifelong interest in Japan and A.I., and after working in finance, he co-founded Zehitomo to bring local services online and become more productive.
James is passionate about personal growth. He previously traded government bonds at Citigroup and, before that, played poker professionally. He co-founded Zehitomo to develop a platform that helps support freelancers and small/medium businesses leverage their skills and talents.
Robert is passionate about startups and community. One of the startups he helped grow was acquired by Nest (later acquired by Google), and he worked as an engineer at MIT and Lumosity. He moved to Tokyo to help bring Silicon Valley best practices to a growing Japan startup scene. You can find him hiking in the mountains on his days off.
Ryosuke is passionate about business and marketing. His experience at Keyence and Bizreach in sales and marketing helped him learn how to scale teams, and he joined Zehitomo to create the first true large-scale local services startup in Japan. Recently, he likes to go camping with his wife and daughter.
Koki is passionate about growth hacking and science. After graduating, he founded Letibee, his own LGBT startup, then became a content manager in curation media at DeNA before joining Zehitomo as an early member and growth hacker. In his free time, Koki enjoys reading science books or playing TV games.
Ayaka is passionate about people and self-expression. After starting her career at Recruit and winning the prestigious Best Practice Award, she moved to New York as a professional singer. Ayaka utilizes her own experience as a freelancer to connect with Pros and grow the Zehitomo Pro Community. In her free time, you might find Ayaka performing at a jazz clubs in Tokyo, or traveling abroad for intensive yoga retreats.
Jumpei is passionate about user experience and customer success. He previously founded a gaming company (later acquired), and he joined Zehitomo to help people create memorable experiences. On weekends, he is likely to be playing bass or guitar, or developing games for fun.
George graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in Computer Engineering. He started his career in 1995 as an engineer at Adobe Systems before joining PayPal in 2000 to work on the core Design Team. In 2006, he left PayPal to join David Sacks as co-founder of Geni.com, a genealogy-based social networking website that grew to over 20 million profiles in its first year. Yammer was a direct spinoff from Geni, and went on to win TechCrunch’s Best-in-Show and was acquired by Microsoft in 2013 for $1.2 billion. He then co-founded BetterWorks and Comparably as Head of Product/UX. George is an advisor and investor in several early-stage internet companies including ReCharge, Fisker Inc, BetterWorks, and Influitive.
